Brisbane to Mt Isa via Air & Mt Isa to Rutchillo Station via road

Left the thriving metropolis of Brisbane early on Thursday morning at 9am heading out to the Isa (as locals call it)  - put the headphones on thought I might view the film about a lady with the same name as me, Robyn and the doco about her crossing the desert with her camels.
But as I look out the window of our plane, there are a lot of changes as we move further inland.
The hills which look like plasticine, so I have had to take a photo of these.  The browns, creams and orche colours which fascinate me so as the journey goes on, I find myself taking so many photos.

By the time the plane had landed in the Isa I had used all the charge in my camera.  I hope you folk find the pictures as fascinating as I did.

I photographed them through the window of the plane which on the far shots looks as if I have touched them up, but these are how they looked to me and my camera.  The only touch up I have done was to crop them so the plane wing or the window cannot be seen.
